We’ve had a lot going on these past few months along with the the big 50 birthday, a trip of a lifetime and becoming grandparents – on top of that we are in the process of moving its said to be one of the 3 most stressful events in your life, not sure if I’d go that far but I am sure it gets pretty close. Well I think I am coming out from under the bubble wrap and cardboard boxes.
We are still not sure where we will end up as we have decided to got into rented accomodation rather than lose our buyer and upset loads of other lifes in the chain. After all, its only Ian and I to worry about and it’ll be fun camping again, living out of boxes – what joy! Not moving too far away and it seems we have a really nice Landlady that has taken pity on our situation, trying to find somewhere to live with a very loveable, big hairy dog and 2 cute cats is no mean feat.
Anyway back to the title ‘Precious First Moments’ what an experience I will never forget and will cherish forever, to be included in this special time of Jessica’s first baby's arrival into the world. Meet ‘River’ born on 12th February 2015 (another aquarian in the family) what a little beauty she is, not so little, weighed in at 8lb 12oz. Well I finally get round to finishing the coloured pencil painting of River, I am sure there will be many more paintings to come to show Rivers special moments in her life. I had many a smile to myself as I worked away with the pencils on the picture. When there a special connection with the subject I find myself so engroused I often find myself talking to the painting, probably a good time to close and add the photo to the blog before I get carted off…..
